"It's the Thought That Counts" |
This
class is designed after Susan’s quilt that was in the New
England Quilt Museum, “It’s the Thought That Counts”.
We all have those beautiful batik panels and don’t know how
to transform them into a beautiful piece of quilted art. Using a
batik panel of your choice you will make a one of a kind wall hanging.
Large graph paper will be the template technique to put together
your design.
Susan will aid you in abstract design and composition, offering
several new piecing designed from traditional skills, and these
techniques will enhance your art work. The paper patterns you draw
in class will aid all levels in succeeding with this project.
Finish off with appliqué and have a free spirit to try something
new and exciting!!!
Batik
panels and fat quarters will be for sale in class, from $15.oo to
$35.oo
