BATHS 21 x 28
Small landscape inspired by a wonderful canyon river in New
Hampshire. Using raw edge applique, and the quilting was done
with black thread in the bobbin so the back looks like a pencil-pen
sketch. |

RUTH'S
IRIS'S 38 x 40
This abstract garden with symmetrical iris flowers represents
one of my favorite flowers that my mother used to grow, and
has exquisite quilting to finish. |

FISH 54 x 54
Designed in similar fashion to the simplistic Omish style,
uses modern fabric and the barder cut and turned to accentuate
the undulating color movement, the quiliting is a series of
cloud, water and water plant motifs. |

MONET
GONE PICASSO 50 x 52
Designed especially for the Hill-Stead Museum in CT. Debuted
as a "one man" show during a nine museum yearly
historical garden tour 2005, and opened the door for future
exhibitors. The Hill-Stead has a collection of Monet Haystack
paintings and I was the first artist to be shown there since
it's opening. This piece also won a second place ribbon in
the Eastern States Exposition Show 2005 |

Third place Special Theme Eastern States Exposition 2004.
Abstract depicting Greek columns with a subtle Lighthouse
which has metalic thread beaming across the evening sky; and
aquaducts in the foreground. |

KEYED UP 51 x 75
I collected wonderful music fabric and expressed a symphony
of quilting energy! This quilt won a blue ribbon in 2004 at
the Eastern States Exposition and the Hill -Stead museum published
it to advertise the annual Historical Museum and Garden tour
of CT.

This was one of my earliest pieces and the first quilt I ever
entered in a show. It won second place at the Eastern States
Exposition! |

ABOUT BEING KING 59"'x60"
Templated crazy quilting is used for the lions mane, along
with raw edge applique and fusible to apply the leaves. This
quilt won a 2nd place for the theme catagory animal kingdom
in the Eastern States Exposition show. |

FRACTURED SEASCAPE 42"x43"
Each strip in this quilt was a planned template using muslin,
accentuating the sparkle and movement of light through water. |

This cute kitty quilt is an early example in the process of
abstracting traditional blocks.
